The Novartis community would like to express our thoughts and condolences to all of those affected by the bushfires in Australia.
While the disaster is not yet over, we thank all of the firefighters, emergency services, defence and volunteers for their continued contribution and dedication to defending and supporting the fire affected communities.
As a company we continue to look into the best ways to offer support to the communities impacted by the devastation of the bushfires across Australia, both now, and in the longer term.
We are making a donation to the Red Cross and encouraging our employees to donate to their own choices of charities. We encourage anyone from the community looking to take action to do the same.
We are also supporting our employees who would like to give their time to support impacted communities and their recovery efforts by granting extra leave.
At this time, family and safety are most important, and we hope for the best for our people, wildlife, communities and environment as we continue into 2020.
