Location: Onsite role in either Indianapolis, IN OR Baarle-Nassau in The Netherlands

We are looking for experienced Supply Chain professionals to help us reach our ambitious goals.

In this role you will be responsible for leading and coordinating overall Radio Ligand Therapy (RLT) external operations for Isotopes & other key suppliers. You will ensure the development and implementation of strategic, tactical, and operational plans for RLT Isotope suppliers and their seamless cross-functional coordination to meet commercial requirements, ensure timely supply readiness of products and services to markets/patients, and optimize value chain results.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Responsible for the development of the tactical and operational plans and processes in line with Radio Ligand Therapy business strategy
• Responsible for alignment between demand and supply capacity (internal and external) for mid- and long-term to deliver service level at targeted cost.
• Responsible for the Isotopes allocations and recommends the appropriate volume assigned to the internal and external network. Leads the strategic assessment and implementation of all external steps of isotope manufacturing (stable isotope, irradiation services and isotope manufacturing and procurement)
• Network optimization, contribute and assess the impact on operations and supply of the strategic decisions on the approved supply network configuration.
• Develops and delivers Key Performance Indicators which drive sustainable business improvements, customer / patient service, costs.
• Networks and effectively utilizes Novartis and wider industry forums to identify future opportunities for collaboration and to identify and leverage best practices across the isotope industry. Within Novartis works cross-functionally with Biomedical Research, Business Development & Legal, Global Drug Development, and Procurement to develop and execute the RLT isotope strategy.
• Represents RLT external operations at the relevant governance and decision boards and interfaces with the overall RLT platform.

Role Requirements

Essential requirements:

Bachelors’ degree in Life Sciences, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or Engineering
Fluency in English
10+ years relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry

Excellent knowledge of supply chain function and business processes, with a good understanding of both commercial and production operations and processes

Experience in leading cross-functional teams.

Good working knowledge of production, quality and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical and/or radiopharmaceutical industries.

Desirable requirements:
Radiopharmaceutical experience
MBA degree
Bilingual English/Italian

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $183,200 and $274,800 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
