About the Role
Associate Director, Operational Excellence
Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid
Major Responsibilities:
- Process Excellence & Lean Operations: Lead the deployment of a Process Excellence framework and Lean Management System to boost productivity through benchmarking and continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Simplification: Champion process simplification by facilitating structured ideation, eliminating inefficiencies, digitizing workflows.
- Business Process Redesign: Drive strategic initiatives to redesign business processes for scalability and future-readiness. Conduct stakeholder workshops and implement standardized procedures to improve efficiency.
- Team Development: Build leadership capabilities within the team, foster a collaborative culture, and empower members to take on greater responsibilities and deliver independently.
- Novartis seeks an individual with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of Operational excellence. The candidate should foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on operational excellence in healthcare setting.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enabling operational excellence at scale. Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including addressing complex business challenges.
- Strong analytical background, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and aligning them with business priorities to drive impactful results
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Data Science, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in Operational excellence or related consulting experience to drive disruptive changes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Desired Skills:
Master Black Belt/ Black Belt Certifications or PMP, Prior experiences in internal/external process consulting, good knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodology & Tools, Knowledge of Process Excellence Framework, learning agility, Cross-functional collaboration, influencing skills, inspirational leadership, people management, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
