As Procurement Manager, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to shape supplier relationships and drive innovation on the German market. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement global category strategy and sourcing business plan for Meeting, Congresses and Events category in Germany.
  • Lead sourcing plans and deliver savings targets for assigned sub-category.
  • Influence supplier selection, timing, and commercial terms within local procurement scope.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance using defined KPIs.
  • Gather supplier feedback and report Procurement Balanced Scorecard metrics.
  • Create, review, and ensure consistent application of major contracts.
  • Resolve supplier performance risks and issues to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead negotiations with global stakeholders and ensure alignment across divisions.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial conditions to support business objectives.
  • Organize tenders and manage end-to-end procurement processes.

Essential Requirements:

  • Higher degree in business administrations, logistics, supply chain, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within a global organization.
  • Proven ability to lead supplier negotiations and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills and understanding of commercial terms.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in virtual and remote teams.
  • High level of independence, ownership, and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous professional growth.
  • Full professional fluency in English and German.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Procurement experience in the category Meeting, Congresses and Events.
