Supply Operations Manager
Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid
About the Role:
- Responsible for driving and handling the Master Production Schedule for the tactical horizon (3 to 24 months) ensuring capacity & resources are in place to support agreed demand plan to satisfy the Customer requirements and to keep the Interface between the site and its customers acting as the primary contact providing visibility of the supply plan to the customers and maintains the Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Responsible for ensuring a timely implementation of all Life Cycle projects as launches/ changes/ transfers/divestment by coordination of involved partners from different functions. Ensures compliance with Regulatory and GMP, law, SOPs, HSE and Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align capacity & production plan with CMO up to 2y horizon Lead execution of production plan with CMO (incl. Order Management). Participate in IBP cycle and NOSSCE (e.g., critical metric management; provide input to Demand & Supply Review)
- Establishes optimal master production schedule for the tactical horizon from month 3 / 4to 24 months, including Production volumes based on demand, rough cut capacity analysis and resources allocation resulting in anticipated operational costs and inventory levels.
- Aligns Master Production Schedule (MPS) to the production plan approved in S&OP. Coordinates action plans to remediate to resources constraints and leads supply critical metric reporting and analysis.
- Ensures right level of SKU Inventories at the next point of the supply chain. Owns planning parameters in ERP Systems. Confirms supply orders, firmed production orders at the entry point of the time fence. Leads action plans to achieve supply performance target and drives for continuous improvement. Ensures that the customers have clear visibility of the current valid supply plan and monitor the delivery commitments in terms of quantities and timelines, in accordance to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Acts as the point of contact for the GOCA process and all order-related topics. Leads backlog and back orders between the Site and customers/ next supply points and ensures direct communication with Customer and internal and external partners.
- Is responsible for Monthly Demand Review Meeting (midterm horizon 3 to 24 months) incl. demand assumptions, recognizing trends, showing variances to last demand submissions, as in-put to Supply Review meeting and Monthly Business Review (MBR) meeting within Sales & Operations (S&OP) process. Leads demand control activities (short term -3/4 months, within the time fence) and pro-ides inputs to Master Planning Schedule (MPS) and detailed scheduling. Is responsible for the up-to-date assortment at SKU level of the assigned brands.
Essential Requirements:
- 10+yrs experience in Supply Operations Management and Execution.
- Hands on experience in demand planning, inventory management. Good experience in Customer Relationship Management & Product Life Cycle Management.
Desirable Requirements:
- Graduate in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering/ Pharmacy or post graduate
