Location: This position will cover the West region, including but not limited to Salt Lake City, UT, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Kansas City, MO, Minneapolis, MN, Milwaukee, WI, and will require up to 75% travel. The associate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from territory border.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional strategies that align with Novartis' and the Precision Health team’s goals and objectives
- Develop and execute field plans that drive measurable business results and customer impact
- Coach, mentor, and develop Health Information Technology leaders to achieve individual and team success
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate execution across the portfolio
- Oversee Health Information Technology programs, operations, and resources to ensure scalable, effective delivery
- Champion Electronic Health Record-enabled solutions that enhance customer engagement and support therapeutic area objectives
- Identify market trends and customer needs to inform strategy, innovation, and future program development
- Establish processes, tools, and operational frameworks that strengthen field effectiveness and performance
- Promote compliant, customer-centric practices while ensuring alignment with organizational and legal guardrails
- Embed responsible artificial intelligence and digital technologies into workflows to improve effectiveness and decision-making
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare/pharma/diagnostics/health informatics/technology.
- 3+ years’ experience in a field leadership role(s)
- Strong understanding of digital health solutions and their impact on patient outcomes
- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence cross-functional stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Experience leveraging data, digital tools, and artificial intelligence to enhance decision-making and business performance
- Candidate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border. Ability to travel 75% over a broad geography is required, with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Novartis Compensation Summary:
The salary for this position is expected to range between $185,500 and $344,500 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
