About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Payer MDM strategy and ensure alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices across payer, plan, PBM, HUB, SP, and claims data domains.
- Guide and mentor teams, review deliverables, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee mastering rules, hierarchies, survivorship logic, and ensure adherence to governance and audit frameworks.
- Manage curation workflows, exception handling, and overall data quality processes.
- Translate payer business rules into standardized operational logic and ensure consistency across stakeholders.
- Collaborate with SMEs and external vendors to resolve discrepancies, maintain data contracts, and uphold quality SLAs.
- Strengthen data quality frameworks, monitoring, validation, alerting, and stewardship enablement.
- Drive operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, and proactive issue prevention.
- Conduct data profiling and assessments to identify gaps, anomalies, and required remediation.
- Analyze payer/plan/PBM attributes to define matching logic, hierarchies, and transformation requirements.
- Ensure reliable delivery of mastered data to downstream consumers while guiding modeling and stewardship practices
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data management with strong expertise in ELT/ETL development.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, etc.).
- Strong experience designing ingestion and transformation pipelines for large healthcare datasets.
- Experience implementing data quality, profiling, validation, logging, and alerting frameworks.
- Good understanding of payer/plan/PBM concepts
- Ability to lead & supervise data initiatives, provide mentorship, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, performance tuning experience, and an automation‑first mindset.
