Summary
About the Role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide essential support for crucial R2R processes, including period-end closing activities, IFRS and HGB postings, balance sheet reviews, account reconciliations, external audit data preparation, and internal controls execution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on accounting-related topics, policies, and processes.
- Proactively monitor changes in accounting standards and external requirements, initiating necessary process/system adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Actively collaborate with the NOCC, FRA Technical Accounting, and divisions to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvements and process changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster effective partner relationships, working closely with accounting authorities and auditors.
- Support the implementation of the S4HANA system (Lean Digital Core Project) by backfilling operational activities.
- Contribute to the overall success of the project through your expertise and dedication.

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in accounting or finance-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices (IFRS, HGB, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in relevant software and accounting systems (e.g., S4HANA, ERP, etc.).
