The Data Analytics & Insights Manager (DA&IM) drives high-quality actionable insights and analytical thinking to strengthen strategic decision-making across Brand teams. Combining deep analytical expertise with business and therapeutic area understanding, the DA&IM proactively surfaces trends, market dynamics, and performance drivers to enable informed, data-driven conversations with brand and leadership teams.
Provides thought leadership by translating complex internal and external data into clear narratives, opportunities, and risks.
The role partners closely with the Country Leadership Team, as well as International and Regional stakeholders, to deliver impactful performance insights.
DA&IM champions the data & analytics roadmap across the Nordics - optimizing data sources and tools, introducing innovative analytics approaches including AI, or orchestrating third-party partnerships that amplify analytical capabilities. This ensures sustained focus on high-impact business partnering while advancing the analytics function's strategic maturity.
This position reports to the Data Analytics & Insights Director and has dotted reporting line to the BE&E Director and Marketing Director in market.
About the Role
Key responsibilities:
- A highly respected business partner to indirectly lead cross-functional teams (Customer Engagement, Marketing, Medical). Provides key business guidance regarding resource allocation, target setting and follow up, market data analysis, market research & customer insights.
- Proactively raises new business proposals and opportunities to unleash growth, highlight risks & opportunities based on frequent, clear and concise analyses (outside-in and bottom-up driven) that combine qualitative and quantitative information.
- Navigate seamlessly across multiple internal and external data sources, synthesizing complexity into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for Brand teams. Data sources include in-market sales data, patient registries, external benchmarks, customer engagement data, market research, etc.
- Provide direction and support to Customer Facing teams with customer engagement KPIs tracking, frequency, target coverage, etc. to help anticipate future trends and market dynamics. Own the local data sources nationally and regionally to guide and support Brand teams to incorporate key components on a regular basis.
- Provide business updates and support planning including execution of quantitative market research, segmentation, targeting and other initiatives to ensure pull-through and follow up.
- Challenge the status quo and ensure business has the availability of most competitive analytics for priority brands; including development and implementation of execution approaches and action plans for Salesforce Excellence and Effectiveness.
- Drive and coordinate the local implementation of projects such as targeting review, territory analysis, call planning, segmentation projects, etc. Work in close partnership with the local Digital Marketing Engagement Managers to enable the advances in digital KPIs and integration of right insights.
- Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization through training and capability building in partnership with Learning & Capabilities. Drive standardization and harmonization of analytics processes across the Nordics to unlock efficiencies and enable consistency.
- Partner with International, WEC (cluster), and other Country teams to evaluate data assets, challenge assumptions, and contribute to strategic decisions. Ensure correct Customer Relation Management (CRM) system reporting by Customer Facing teams by providing training and dashboards for managers to follow-up on their coaching discussions with field colleagues.
- Develop user friendly dashboards, trackers and training for simple cross-functional adoption, as well as maintains an overview of all dashboards and their utilization in market - deciding when some can be consolidated or retired to ensure efficiencies. Stay on top of data analytics trends to enrich peers and strive to enhance data capabilities to drive business value
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Min. 3-5 year of experience in business analytics, commercial insights, or sales effectiveness roles preferably from Pharma.
- Proficient English and preferred Danish, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Cross functional collaboration and leading without authority.
- Stakeholder management, business partnering experience.
- Knowledge in working in database solutions and visualization tools e.g., PowerBI, Snowflake, Salesforce while guiding development requirements.
- Understanding of local healthcare systems like registries, tender processes
