About the Role
Key responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing assessment of the MSLs’ proficiencies and skills, efficiency, and progress toward goal objectives.
- Responsible for the performance management, evaluation process, and organizational talent review process for the Scientific Operations team.
- Ensure implementation of operational processes within the team.
- Contribute to the needs assessment and development and implementation of training plans for MSLs.
- Develops, evaluate, and deliver core training to the MSL in transversal scientific knowledge, responsible for quality and consistency.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving the operational needs/issues and processes of the MSLs and sharing standard methodologies within Medical affairs.
- Proactively coordinates field need for medical/scientific knowledge required for management and support of Novartis Pharma products/pipeline molecules and relative disease states in-line and products in development.
- Attend appropriate scientific meetings to maintain their awareness of research activities within therapeutic area.
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in life science is mandatory, physician (MD) is desirable
- Validated experience in similar roles leading MSLs
- Deep understanding of Healthcare Systems
- Proficient in English & Spanish
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Strategic mentality / agile learning
- Availability to travel up to 60% of the time
