Summary

The Manager, Curriculum Development & Learning will be responsible for coordinating and operationalizing the learning programs and curriculum for the US Pharma and Oncology Sales organization. This role will partner closely with the Associate Director, Curriculum Development & Learning and other key internal stakeholders as needed to ensure curriculum is appropriately mapped across all functional areas to support learner retention and enhance performance. This includes supporting with conducting thorough needs assessments, creating of learning materials, and collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. The Manager, Curriculum Development & Learning will also support the evaluation and effectiveness of curriculum through feedback and performance metrics to support continuous improvements to enhance the learning experience.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Support in the design and development of an adaptive/personalized curriculum to guide learners based on their current level of knowledge and skills.
  • Help identify and provide enhancements to overall curriculum design effectiveness and efficiencies, such as shortening completion times for new hire training.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Product and Skills Training Leads to provide recommendations and drive cross functional execution and delivery of curriculum for all phases of new hire training.
  • Coordinate and conduct needs assessment to identify learning gaps and determine curriculum development needs or enhancements to existing programs
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and key internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of learning content.
  • Collaborate with CE training functions, Commercial Operations, IT, and global CLO to design, integrate, and roll out new learning technology in a logical and user-friendly manner to field teams.
  • Partner with Associate Director, Curriculum Development and Learning to adapting curriculum to different learning styles and skillsets by applying adult learning principles and techniques.
  • Support in the development of customized Learning Paths to upskill individuals requiring additional training to help them progress within current role responsibilities. 
  • Coordinate and operationalize all pre- and post-learning knowledge checks for placement into appropriate training level, to measure progress, and to evaluate effectiveness of training.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare industry
  • Minimum 2 years experience developing sales training programs in Healthcare / Pharma / related business
  • Degree in business, Instructional Design, Education, or related discipline required. MBA or advanced degree in related field a plu
  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories (a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders within a matrixed organization and applying a consultative approach to crystalize learning requirements and deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written when working with key internal stakeholders
  • Strong aptitude for working with and learning new technology platforms and demonstrated ability to deliver adaptive learning programs (a plus)
  • Proven advanced English proficiency.
