We take this commitment seriously so that our people can be their best selves in their lives and in their work, in an ever-changing environment.

Having the confidence to talk openly about mental health, recognizing the symptoms, knowing where to send a person in need and igniting the discussion to de-stigmatize mental health are all key drivers to our growth and development as people.

Energized for Life initiative

The initiative includes care for mental and physical well-being. It intertwines two areas and thus is a holistic approach to well-being. Activities that we carry out regularly and that the employees are also well aware of are, for example, vaccination against influenza. We organize active breaks at workplaces, on line active breaks and yoga. We offer our employees guided fitness activities and subsidized workouts with external sports providers. This goes hand in hand with the monitoring of general physical fitness, e.g. body composition and stress measurements.

Initiative Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The initiative focuses on four areas: people with disabilities, intergenerational collaboration, diverse talents, and the LGBTQI+ community. We are strongly committed to treating all employees fairly and respectfully and providing equal opportunities. We aim to create a working environment where associates are valued for their skills and contributions to our shared mission to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people's lives, regardless of their potential circumstances or limitations.

Health promotion program

In this area, we focus primarily on the prevention and management of occupational diseases, accidents, disabilities and the elimination of factors that can be dangerous to health and safety at work. We promote a healthy and safe working environment, strengthening the physical, mental and social well-being of employees and maintaining their working ability and productivity.

Provision of preventive health care is carried out in cooperation with occupational doctors who also prepare and revise the risk assessment (health assessment), health promotion measures, counseling and participation in work environment, job and work equipment investigations and other preventive activities in the field of employee health.
