Governance – a dedicated, integrated global RP function
Responsible Procurement at Novartis is managed by a dedicated global team of RP professionals, working under the Chief Procurement Officer.
Reporting to the Head of Responsible Procurement, the RP Operations Manager manages the operational aspects of the RP program. Four Global RP Managers are based in each of the Novartis RP regions: India cluster; China cluster; the Latin America; and Rest of World (RoW). The Global RP Managers are responsible for the facilitation of RP across all Novartis Group companies within their geographic regions. They also act as the Labor Rights Expert.
RP is fully integrated across the Novartis organization: our Global RP Managers, buyers, business partners and experts in HSE, Animal Welfare, Anti-Bribery, and Data Privacy each have a clearly defined role to play in RP practice and work together to ensure our RP goals are met.
