About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Process optimization; analyse processes, challenge status quo, identify improvement areas, reduce complexity, increase standardization and harmonization, align and integrate with other / subsequent processes. Propose and implement process (and system) improvements, drive productivity and continuous improvements
- System optimization; define and implement a TMS maintenance and upgrade strategy, obtain user requirements and translate (in close collaboration with Treasury IT) into system solutions. Increase use of system capabilities and increase system footprint (scope of automated solutions)
- Integration; ensure end-to-end process and system integration, eliminate (or reduce) manual intervention, reduce applications and interfaces
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal- and external control requirements (NFCM/SOX404), as well as regulatory compliance. Increase automation of controls
- Manage Know Your Customer (“KYC”) process through a secure SWIFT application
- Treasury operations; support Cash & Liquidity Team, including maintenance of static data, review and release of transactions, prepare cash & liquidity forecast.
- Technical operations; support in month-end processes; perform validations, verifications and reconciliations (with custodians).
What you'll bring to the Role:
- University Degree in Finance or equivalent, degree in IT a strong plus. Extensive experience in a Finance / Accounting department, preferably in a similar environment (Corporate Treasury or Financial Institution), or as Treasury consultant.
- Extensive experience and in-depth understanding of Financial Compliance & Controls.
- Strong experience with SWIFT
- Experience with Treasury Management System (preferable Quantum - FIS)
- Fluent in English both written & verbal.
