The Payroll Service Head is responsible to lead the regional EMEA region (EUROPE + MEA) payroll function and deliver multi country outstanding payroll support and services to our +35000 associates in a context of transformation, within our P&O organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead and encourage the regional payroll team to ensure the right people, at the right time, get paid the right amount.
• Lead our approved global payroll transformation project to standardize and streamline our current set-up over the next 3-4 years.
• Provide inputs to the P&O Services strategy, develop plans within the focus area and ensure its implementation across specified region / business areas, while continuously driving improvement and innovation.
• Implement service level management in partnership with our regions and vendors to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze and identify potential design improvements (in collaboration with P&O), providing organizational change support and appropriate communications to prepare implementation of new services and processes.
• Partner closely with various customers (finance, tax, total rewards, legal, IT and the business) to ensure payroll is processed securely as per defined procedures, guidelines, legal requirements and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Keep up to date on required regulatory/compliance requirements and maintain compliance across the function.
• Lead and drive resolution in any increased operational delivery risks or issue.
• Lead and influence multiple customers including expectations end-to-end are clearly defined and understood.
• Run the preparation and finalization of budget and investments plans for the area of responsibility, conduct periodic cost and efficiency analyses to support productivity objectives, assess, and initiate additional activities if require throughout the region.
• Lead all aspects of the management, training and development of P&O Services teams.
• Lead or initiate various P&O Services projects.
• Ownership of the Global Alight relationship.

Key Requirements:

• You have successfully completed a business administration degree or its equivalent with a major area of concentration in business or accounting preferred.
• Professional experience in the payroll field required.
• In addition, you have profound experience in leading global teams and working in a matrixed environment.
• You are very experienced in handling vendors from negotiating contracts to continuous improvement (ADP GV, Celergo, Streamline, Alight,…).
• You have demonstrable experience in leading a Payroll Transformation project.
• You have experience with major Payroll and ERP systems required (e.g., Workday, Service Now).
• Furthermore, you can influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior management.
• You are proficient in English (both written and spoken), Regional language of the SSC is plus (French, German).
