About the Role

The Associate Manager - Inventory Business Analyst is a strategic role that combines analytics expertise with a focus on optimizing inventory management processes. They analyze inventory data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights to drive improvements in inventory accuracy, forecasting, and replenishment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and facilitating communication between finance and supply chain analytics, they play a pivotal role in aligning inventory strategies with overall business objectives.

Major Accountabilities:
• Coordinate with platforms like Latest Outlook (LO) and Target Year-End for accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Track risks and opportunities within the inventory domain and provide valuable insights on financial performance.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data through SAP and Finance systems reconciliation.
• Liaise with the Inventory Insights Product Owner to facilitate smooth information exchange and enhance collaboration between the finance and supply chain analytics teams.
• Assist the Inventory Insights Product Owner in increasing user adoption of the Insights application by providing valuable insights and promoting usability.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis using inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Identify and address inventory data quality issues to ensure the reliability and accuracy of insights.
• Utilize expertise in inventory parameterization and simulations to gain a deeper understanding of the data and enable informed decision-making processes within inventory management.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Supply Chain or Operations Management, Business Analytics or a related field with overall 4-8 years relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in using SAP and Finance systems for reconciliation and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide valuable insights. Experience working with data analysis tools, such as Power BI, Excel and/or SQL. Familiarity with data science is a plus.
