Summary
Our Novartis IT team in Prague is looking for a strong Procurement IT Business Partner/Consultant. This role will be part of a team accountable for the global IT Procurement Landscape.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- As IT Business Partner you will lead projects of strategic nature in areas of Procurement transformation, digitalization as well as Enterprise-wide transformation
- Establish yourself as trusted IT Business Partner, guiding them through the setup and implementation of various technology initiatives
- Your expertise will be crucial in advising Novartis Procurement stakeholders on transformation projects, particularly with regard to the leading procurement solutions such as Ariba, Sourcing, Contracting, Guided Buying, Fieldglass, Icertis,
- Staying up to date with market developments and trends will be essential, as you will be responsible for sharing this knowledge within the organization and translating it into strategic thought leadership
- Provide technical and functional expertise to customers during the implementation process
- You will also be Accountable for e2e Delivery of Initiatives, from IT demand shaping, forming project/program teams which may include running RFP to select a strategic partner, Budget Management, up to full implementation and handover to IT operations,
Role Requirements
- Over 8 years of functional or technical experience with main solutions (Ariba, Fieldglass), optional Icertis
- Mandatory experience and know-how with main solutions (Ariba, Fieldglass, (Icertis - optionally)
- Strong Stakeholder management experience, working very closely with senior Procurement Stakeholders, like GPO`s, Category Management, Legal,
- Savvy in IT process, best practices & standards, e.g. ITIL, ICE, Agile
- Business acumen with legal and commercial awareness of global deals/contracts
- An analytical mindset to critically question facts, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar and Fluency in English written & spoken, other languages desired
- Demonstrated leaderships skills, with over 5 years proven management experience within a global matrix organization
