Location: East Hanover, NJ #LI-Hybrid About the Role: This role is accountable to oversee the US data integrity in partnership with up-and down-stream systems, deliver reporting to business partners, and analyze trends pinpointing areas of opportunity to improve our process, behaviors, and system operations with the goal of reducing marketing costs and accelerating time to market.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Data Model

  • Steward the data dictionary
  • Evaluate impact of change
  • Define transformation and taxonomy strategies in support of operational advancements

Reporting

  • Oversee the suite of integrations that connect for compliance purposes to marketing channels in partnership with DDIT, MarTech, and other partners
  • Ensure in-system end-user reports are functioning in real-time
  • Create new reports to monitor trends & progress, regularly communicating the impact of operational choices

Analytics

  • Support customer (Internal Marketers, Functional Leadership, and Creative Agencies) to independently adjust their ways of working by providing analytics/dashboards to answer key business questions
  • Data visualization through Qlik or other tool (PowerBI) to enable faster assimilation and decision making to foster high velocity change adoption
  • Pinpoint areas of high value in alignment with the vision to become a best in class marketing organization
  • Define intervention strategies is collaboration with Training & Comms, Content Operations, and key partners/leaders in the organization

Optimization

  • Accountable to lead key projects within remit to foster continuous progress in alignment with the organizational strategy
  • Seek outside-in feedback to evolve at pace with what’s available, possible, and essential

This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 10% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international). Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Education: BA/BS degree required. Focus in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science is preferred. 

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry and/or digital marketing operations role
  • Experience in a matrixed/networked organization
  • Working knowledge of FDA and Pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance guidelines on advertising and promotion
  • Pharmaceutical review and approval process acumen
  • Deep understanding of data models, taxonomy, and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to operate under and apply Agile Methodology
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Understanding of MarTech systems: Veeva Vault PromoMats, Aprimo Marketing Cloud, Adobe EC or similar DAM/workflow

Desirable Requirements:

  • Functional experience marketing operations, sales or systems ownership

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166,400 and $249,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
