Summary

The Regional Director of RTS, Radioligand Therapy (RDR) fills a unique role on the RTS team, serving as the Team’s Manager and as the Nuclear Regulatory lead. The RDR is responsible for the administrative oversight of the RTS team. In consultation with the Head, Nuclear Capabilities, works to develop a strategic plan for operations, allocation of coverage, and annual individual and team goals and objectives. This position also ensures RTS team compliance with rules and regulations of applicable regulatory agencies and adherence to internal procedures and policies. Location: Remote: This position can be based remotely in US. Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. Candidate will be responsible to manage Radioligand Therapy Specialists (RTS) covering Western and Central US States and must live in designated territory.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

•Build, lead, manage and inspire a purposeful, patient-focused, engaged, and high-performing Radioligand Therapy Specialist team. Develop and drive a culture of collaboration and accountability, which embodies the Novartis Values and Behaviors – Curious, Inspired, Unbossed and Integrity. •Responsible for the management, leadership, and direction of the RTS team support to both internal and external stakeholders.
•Directs and develops programs (i.e. output measuring tools, customer needs assessment tools) to assure efficient and effective management of the RTS team.
•Lead and develop the RTS team to build clinical acumen within the US Field Medical Oncology internal team as well as the customers within existing and potential treating sites.
•Create and implement priorities for the RTS team to execute the franchise strategic imperatives and tactics focused on the delivery of the marketed therapies.
•Continuously inform Head- Nuclear capabilities, Medical TA Head and Stakeholder Engagement of business needs that arise from the RTS team and the customers they support.
•Manage resources and expertise across the team to ensure the assigned region has the coverage where and when necessary, thus ensuring adequate staffing and supervisory support.
•Conducts a periodic review of team impact, throughput, and completion/fulfilment of stakeholder requests.

Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
•Additional advanced certification and/or certification required: Nuclear Medicine, Health Physics, Radiation Therapy, Medical Imaging, or Radiochemistry.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $201,600.00 and $302,400.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
