About the Role

As the Associate Director in the cutting-edge field of Radioligand Therapy at Novartis, you'll lead critical integrations of IT and business processes, impacting global healthcare outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• System Integration and Automation Design:
Develop and implement automated systems that integrate with existing production equipment and data systems. Design and optimize automation solutions to enhance production efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and ensure seamless data flow within the manufacturing environment.
• Data Acquisition and Analysis
Implement data acquisition systems to collect real-time data from various production processes and equipment. Analyse production data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data used for decision-making.
• Quality Compliance and Validation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) and 21 CFR Part 11. Lead and participate in validation activities, including writing validation protocols and reports, to ensure the reliability and integrity of automated systems and data.

Create and maintain detailed documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and technical specifications, to ensure the clear understanding and consistent operation of automation systems. Conduct training sessions for production personnel on the proper use of automation systems, emphasizing data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Provide technical support for automation systems, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly to minimize production downtime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the continuous operation and reliability of automation equipment and data systems.
• Team Management
Lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

Role Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English.
• Experience: Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in system integration and high-level project management.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge in data analysis, EMS/BMS system, OSI PI Historian, and pharmaceutical IT system management.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams.
