The Medical Manager is accountable for the design of Medical Affairs plans for assigned areas, providing scientific information, contributing to clinical strategy, collaborating to develop impactful omnichannel medical communication and education plans.

About the Role

Location:

London Office with Hybrid working (12 days per month in the office)

Major accountabilities:

  • Contributes clinical strategy across multiple assigned established brands
  • Build strong partnerships with cross functional teams to drive the established brands company objectives forward
  • Have a seat at the cross functional table and provide medical input to overall business plans
  • Act as strong team players within a thriving and newly forming medical team 
  • Performs critical appraisal of scientific data and changes relevant to established brands
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful medical education plans and projects, inspire, influence and educate on the importance of the clinical context
  • Effectively communicates clinical evidence to internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Ensures appropriate life-cycle management and delivery of regulatory requirements (e.g. risk management plans and prescribing information updates)
  • Identifies HCS stakeholder needs and opportunities to engage

Minimum Requirements:

  • Medical doctor or U.K. GPhC Pharmacist or possession of a PhD or Masters qualification in scientific/medical 
  • Good knowledge of any disease area and Medical Affairs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing  skills and customer orientation
  • Reasonable knowledge of drug development and the UK Health Care System 
  • Strong understanding of the ABPI code
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time to attend conferences, meetings and expert HCP visits.
