Location: Netherlands, Baarle-Nassau

The purpose of the Production Support Engineer is to ensure that the integrity and reliability of the equipment is up to standard. By ensuring that all maintenance activities (Preventive, Corrective and Troubleshooting) are performed and documented according to our GMP and internal guidelines. This ensures a safe and reliable operation of the IDB production equipment.

This role will work directly with the [Engineering] team and reports to the [Engineering Head].

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of maintenance (with support of vendor in specific fields) in and outside the GMP production area.
• Corrective maintenance, including remediation of first-line failures, as well as preventive maintenance, and helping in the preparation of planned stops; and inspective maintenance, through execution of protocols as specified.
• Calibration, per specified interval including documentation. Also develop, revise & review related technical documents (Work-instructions, Job Plans, HECP’s etc.).
• Partner with our manufacturing and quality team to set the right priorities and determine solutions for technical challenges.
• Controlling and administrating the spare parts for the production equipment in alignment with the Maintenance/Reliability Engineer.
• Being a key partner in continuous improvement, providing input to equipment modifications and overall process based on maintenance activities (breakdowns, interruptions etc.).
• Supporting validation activities per the defined validation protocols, along with supporting the preparation of maintenance interventions.
• Providing technical training to operators where needed.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• MBO+ or HBO degree (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronic Engineering (MTS).
• Analytical skills and Analytical Trouble Shooting (ATS) approach.
• Good level of English
• Attention to safety, able to work in an organized and structured manner through protocols and standards
• Attention to detail, ability to look at the process through the eye of the end-user as well as an Engineer.

Desirable Requirements:
• Working experience within (pharmaceutical) GMP or isotope manufacturing.
• Dutch knowledge.
