 **Project Name:** Guy’s St Thomas’ Breast Cancer service development collaborative working

**Project Summary:**

The Collaborative Working Project (CWP) aims to free up capacity within the breast cancer (BC) pathway with the addition of dedicated new roles:-

“**Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner (SACT LACP)** band 8B for 18 months with 15 months clinical activity

and **Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner (SACT NMP)** band 8A 0.6 whole time equivalent (WTE) Band for 15 months 14 months clinical activity.

These roles will be responsible for designing and delivering a streamlined oral Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) pathway. This includes developing pre-treatment education, optimising patient self-management, and providing support for disease management, pre-assessment, review, education, and follow-up for breast cancer patients eligible for oral SACT therapies. Additionally, the roles will involve implementing the newly developed digital learning resources, coordinating and leading virtual oral Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) clinics, introducing E-PROMS/Careology, and developing metrics to inform a business case for the sustainability of these positions.
