About the Role: To develop and play a lead role in execution of strategies that drive sustained top line growth and maximize profitability for Novartis franchises at key account level by analyzing market and competitive environment and NVS performance (sales, profit and price/volume trend), both at brand and portfolio level. This role reports directly into the Head of Key Account Management.

About the Role

  • Mitigate risk from hospital level policy changes to ensure access, reimbursement and optimize price
  • Gather and analyze account data and develop business scenarios and strategies (KPH) and lead execution
  • Lead hospital listing, generic defense, preventing of de-listing at hospital executive level
  • Lead preparation and handle tenders and all price negotiation
  • Identify commercial opportunities at account level; develop and implement commercial value propositions (e.g. bundling of products) to capture opportunities
  • Build KDM advocacy through KDM partnership programs; leverage in driving NVS agenda
  • Manage cross-BU ATM team in coordinating NVS activities to optimize investment
  • Provide input and obtain support for IPMs and PAPs from hospital KDMs

Essential Requirements:

  • Pharmacist background
  • 2 – 5 years’ operational experience in key account management or sale manager
  • Territory experience will be an added advantage
  • Business partnering and influencing
  • Cross functional collaboration
