Job Description

As a highly analytical and technically adept business partner for the Sandoz Turkey Team, the incumbent is responsible for managing financial projects & finance team

Key Responsibilities;

• To define and build up the structures, general policies and strategies of Sandoz Turkey for financial issues in view of business requirements.
• To help the top management to adapt the structures to changing macro and pharma-economical conditions.
• As a member of Sandoz Executive committee, playing key role in coordinating and steering projects with financial content between various company units.
• Ensure that the team colleagues are properly trained so that they always meet Sandoz requirements for routine jobs as well as for extraordinary and complicated projects
• To work in close relationship with Novartis country finance organization in necessary areas.
• Coordinating and steering BPA functions. Initiating deviation analysis between actual and planned figures, monitoring the reasons and possible future expectations. Suggestion and implementation of measures for the sake of a stable and profitable operation of the company.
• To analyze and control the appropriateness of the studies done within the department.
• This position directly reports to Country Head and is a member of SEC

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration or related fields
• Min 5 years post qualification and relevant financial business experience in a pharma industry
• Strong analysis skills
• Good project management background
• People management experience, including ability to influence behaviors and help them thrive to achieve high quality results
• Result driven, being able to perform in a challenging environment
• Team player, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to successfully handle conflicts
• Good business reports writing skills and proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to: prioritize resource and deliver key activities in a highly competitive environment, including pragmatic, agile, flexible mindset, convert observations into strategic insights and implications
