The Global Solution Architect will create the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem by designing, describing, and managing the solution.
Your responsibilities:
• Understand and translate enterprise needs into implementable technology solutions to enable long-term success
• Develop alternative architecture approaches all adequately responding to a given problem and select the most appropriate architecture alternative (together with Enterprise Architect).
• Elaborate the solution architecture for a specific solution based on architecture-significant requirements and company-wide architecture standards, providing solution architecture guidance to support the conceptual and detailed design within projects.
• Leverage architecture standards, architecture patterns, reference architectures, and other referential means to elaborate the most adequate solution architecture meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Elaborate and describe the solution architecture holistically, considering all relevant viewpoints (e.g. functional Architecture, Data Architecture, Technical Architecture, Security Architecture, Performance Architecture, etc.) and communicate and explain selected aspects of the solution architecture to appropriate stakeholder groups.
• Validate solution architectures regarding their adequacy and adherence to architecture standards throughout the solution lifecycle, while ensuring they are captured appropriately in the enterprise tools/repository (e.g. ADONIS, ADOIT, ERWIN).
• Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within solution architecture Enterprise scope.

Minimum Requirements
What you will bring to the role:
• Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field; fluent English, written and spoken.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, including designing IT solutions to business problems.
• Experienced in guiding and developing teams across wide geographies, in collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align a strategic IT service portfolio with business needs.
• Experience in change management through process engineering and/or participating in large-scale IT change / transformation programs.
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to present features and solution recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge in architecting asynchronous, message-based architecture, as well as with microservice-based architectures and associated patterns and in product delivery and architecture, including as an Architect of enterprise solutions.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
• Certification in and/or experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies is a plus
