Summary

The Brand Engagement Manager at Novartis manages and is responsible of the Brand marketing Dutch plan in Cardiovascular, including effectively execution on prioritized tactics, monitoring of the agreed strategic tactical plans to ensure the growth of the Brand across all Dutch Squad team functions within agreed budgets. You will be an active member in high-performing strategic and accountable Brand engagement Team including Brand engagement Lead, Digital engagement manager and Project engagement manager and be a member of the high-performing strategic and accountable cross functional squad TA team, which includes sales, marketing, strategic account management, and brand digital engagement.

Key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare content of Integrated Brand Teams and Launch Teams.
  • Responsible for execution, monitoring and analysis of the agreed tactical plans in order to ensure the growth of the brand(s)
  • Own the development of promotional activities in line with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines.
  • Supervise and control brand budgets, forecasts and expenses and assess the marketing mix of the product to evaluate cost effectiveness and results.
  • Identify area market insights and opportunity via customer interactions
  • Implement central marketing activities as well as regional initiated marketing activities
  • Supervise product performance and external environment using appropriate tools and taking corrective action if required to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Medical teams to improve activities:
  • Scout centers, KOLs and OLs by disease within assigned territory
  • Identify specific needs for each segment of patients and the implications of the disease for each of them within assigned territory

Essential Requirements

  • WO/ HBO Marketing, Life Sciences or alike
  • Dutch and English fluent spoken & written (please only apply if both languages are on fluent level)
  • Minimal 3 years of experience in a marketing role

  • Experience in Marketing or Product Management
  • Cross Cultural Experience
  • Operations Management and Execution
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience or affinity in Pharma, Medical Devices and/or Life Sciences
  • Hands-on and winning mentality
