Talent Acquisition Strategy & Operations Project coordinator (Postgraduates)

These positions are specifically for recent master or bachelor’s degree graduates starting within 12 months of graduation.

During 2022 we have an organizational-wide transformation/simplification program, so this is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of significant operational and strategic projects.

Your responsibilities:
You will work in the Talent Acquisition Strategy & Operations team (based in Ireland, Switzerland, USA, Czech Republic and India), and with other colleagues in Talent Acquisition and broader Novartis Human Resources (internally called People & Organization) across a broad range of recruitment projects.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Project coordination: Coordinate and monitor progress across all TA S&O projects and change programs. Participate as a project team member in one or more TA projects with overview of a member of TA S&O. 2022 projects include global TA process harmonization, new TA technologies, policy / audit / business continuity risk & compliance, Knowledge Management, advanced interview assessments.
• Reporting: Support creation of various high-quality analysis, reports and presentations for TA S&O and TA Leadership including hiring metrics and key performance indicators, D&I, legal compliance.
• Team support: Support TA S&O daily activities such as review and adjustment of guidelines and templates; co-ordination of internal communications and global project meetings, agenda items and slides, meeting minutes, action lists.
• Internal partnering: Liaise with a range of different units including Novartis P&O Services, Compliance, Rewards, Legal, P&O generalists, Talent Management, Talent Scouting, Diversity & Inclusion, Global Mobility, Procurement, Finance, Communications. Build and maintain excellent relationship with all parties involved.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor or higher degree (graduation no more than 1 year before start date) in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Economics or other degree with a data/ analytical perspective.
• Previous experience working in an international company, with proactive accountability for your work where you made a difference. Experience from within Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or a Project Management office would be ideal, otherwise interest in Human Resources.

Desirable requirements:
• Process improvement: Support the TA Head Policies, Compliance & Audit to identify and implement new or revised policies and processes, ensuring global alignment and regional understanding across TA / relevant P&O units. Become a specialist in TA & P&O guidelines, processes, and techniques, able to advise on global standards.
• Experience from within Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or a Project Management office would be ideal; otherwise, interested in Human Resources.
