The Business Planning Analyst (BPA) is responsible for running core financial operations, reporting & planning processes and actively drives financial performance management. The BPA acts as a business partner, providing proactive, insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to relevant local stakeholders to contribute to the realization of short term as well as strategic objectives. The BPA also provides support to other functions in close collaboration with global staff.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Proactively co-owning the delivery of our financial objectives by deeply connecting with our business, supporting relevant stakeholders with insights & providing recommendations for decision-making
• Delivering high quality, on-time financial planning & performance management processes & converting insights generated as part of it into strategic recommendations & business impact
• Business partner for product life cycle management, runs business cases for new product launches as member of portfolio committee, optimizes product profitability, manages product costing, analyzes performance of product categories (price, volume, mix analysis)
• Business partner to supply chain, manages product costing, write-offs, stock-in-trade, and supports on demand planning analysis
• Prepares management reporting on a timely basis; runs short- and long-term financial business planning including alignment with regional/global stakeholders. Evaluates risks and opportunities based on a deep understanding of internal and external business drivers, and gives recommendations (incl. alignment with global teams, local supply chain and portfolio, CFO & CEO) to mitigate these risks and take advantage of opportunities

Minimum Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
• Proficient with Office tools (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint) and analytical tools (e.g. SAP BI, Qlik)
• Demonstrated analytical skills and critical thinking
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in French and English
Desirable requirements:
•Master’s degree in finance (Bac +5); professional qualifications a plus (CPA/MBA)
•4+ years of relevant experience in Accounting / Finance; prior experience in audit, consulting and/or FMCG industry preferred
