-Primary responsibility is to support and drive strategic business projects for Novartis Group, the CEO and the Executive Committee, with the aim of maximizing economic value and securing future competitive advantage. -Plan, develop, and lead projects, based around key Novartis products in major markets, that -Deliver substantially greater outcome improvement than from the product alone -Deliver substantially greater financial rewards for Novartis based on this -To design and deliver an organization-wide capability building program to build a cadre of leaders within Novartis Divisions who can lead such projects and further build capabilities in colleagues. -Process responsible for hiring and managing external capability building consultants.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Acts as subject matter expert for assigned workstream(s)-Acts as sparring partner within project team

  • Develops network of subject matter experts within NVS organization

  • Leads and independently owns individual workstreams with guidance from overall project manager(s)

  • Generates strategic insights based on best-in-lass analysis, distills outputs and recommendations which enable informed decisions of top leaders -Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples

  • Contribute in a coordinated and collaborative way with business leaders and their teams, as well as P&O and other functional colleagues. Collectively, these teams address business and leadership development challenges and opportunities considering Novartis strategy and build the organizational capability needed to drive the scaling of personal growth

  • Develop and implement project management programs which contain the details of a project guide and direct project to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines

  • Supervise industry trends to identify changes in project strategies, tools, terminology and to adjust accordingly and leads the recruiting and orienting of project personnel to ensure a capable workforce

  • Manage every aspect of project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources and Provide direction, monitoring and assurance, advocacy in assigned Novartis programs to key program partners, program leads and senior leadership and good negotiation and vendor management

  • Essential Requirements:

    Masters in either a Science, Engineering, or IT with and MBA (or equivalent).
    • Experience in working in Agile environments
    • Hands on experience in Integrated Planning in large projects/programs
    • Experience in handling end to end projects/programs
    • Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE2 is preferred.
    • 15 years of proven experience in Project Management
    • Major Change Industry/ Business Exposure English Developing and Delivering Story Flows and Presentations for Management Critical thinking and planning Knowledge of current and future global business trends leading resources
    • Capability to help client’s structure, plan, estimate, deliver, deploy, and operate the Teams services, cloud connectivity, and network infrastructures supporting an enterprise architecture.

    • Excellence in soft skills to effectively work with diverse set of senior stakeholders in the organization.
