Responsible for income tax compliance (federal, state, and international), and income tax accounting and reporting for business units.

Prepare monthly and quarterly current and deferred income tax provision calculations and associated US group reporting submission in accordance with IFRS and in full SOX compliance.

Maintain, substantiate, and document deferred tax assets and liabilities, and prepare tax account reconciliations and required schedules for the year-end tax provision audit.

Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns, estimates and extension, including consolidated and unitary returns, 5472’s, R&D credit calculation, state apportionment, and associated tax accounting true-ups.

Provide income tax accounting and compliance support for BD&L/M&A and business transactions including acquisition integration, divestment analysis, tax legislation updates as well as tax audit support.

Liaise with corporate accounting, legal, FRA/BPA, Treasury to monitor/understand current business activities/successes/challenges, tax cash and effective rate projections, and contribute to multi-functional team efficiency projects, tax operations projects and broader global tax initiatives.

Completion of accurate tax provision calculations within tight time constraints.

Accurate tax compliance preparation in accordance with strict internal policies and deadlines.

Education (minimum/desirable): Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or CPA. MS in Tax preferred.

Experience: 5+ years’ experience in income tax compliance and accounting with large public accounting firm and/or large public company tax department, SAP and OneSource software experience preferred, Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
