The Manager, BPA - Customer Engagement supports Field Force leadership in managing to financial targets through driving field effectiveness, optimizing resource allocation, and building competitive and effective incentive compensation plans while seeking out cost efficiencies.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide financial expertise to field leadership and operations teams, leading discussions on Sales resourcing requirements across all brands
• Lead the development and management of financial plans across the IM-US Customer Engagement pillar, including accurate forecasts of headcount, personnel cost, and field-driven brand resource expenses
• Develop models to evaluate the effectiveness and value creation of various incentive compensation plans for the various field force teams, accounting for brand lifecycle, market conditions, and other factors and drive the adoption of optimal solutions
• Analyze the effectiveness of various field-driven expenses (e.g., samples, lunch & learns) and ensure their optimization
• Design and build novel field-related analytics to find areas of opportunity (effectiveness metrics, high potential targets/geographies)
• Create improved methodology for optimally allocating budgets across geographies for field-driven brand resources

This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely.
Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-Year University degree required
• 2+ finance and/or analytics experience
• Understanding of the US pharmaceutical industry
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent finance and analytical skills, strong communication skills, including ability to communicate financial information to non-finance groups to drive stakeholder engagement
• High learning agility, problem solving, a strong attention to detail and interest to develop deep knowledge of the supported area
• Excel power user experience

Desirable
• Degree subject area in Finance, Business, or related
• Keen interest in developing strong data literacy and skills to visualize data into useful and easily consumed information
• BPC and SAP is a plus, affinity to data and systems

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $97,600.00 and $146,400.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
