Job Description

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure compliance with the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and SOX 404 requirements for LACan and US assigned processes.
• Execute end-to-end process walkthroughs to gain deep understanding and identify risk gaps to recommend controls or business process improvements.
• People management, incl. ensuring a high-performance work culture with strong focus on continuous improvement initiatives and monitoring of critical deliverables.
• Liaison with key stakeholders, including CFOs, NGSC Process Leads, GPOs and Group Financial Controls & Compliance (GFC&C); ensure transparent, reliable, and agile stakeholder management.
• In coordination with the FC&C team, ensure a timely reporting of control deficiencies to regional / global stakeholders and providing clarity over remediation actions.
• Support Internal and external audits requirements as needed.
• Position required for a temporary period (12 months)

Minimum Requirements
• Advance or fluent in English
• Experience with Audit, Internal Controls or Record to Report Area – minimum 5 years
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Financial related. Would accept other areas, in case there is a clear working experience on Financial related areas.
• Experience: Management or Coordinator position (minimum) – minimum 3 years. Experience into multinational companies – minimum 4 years
• Soft skills: Great in communication, Influence, Resiliency, Team mindset / collaboration, Proactive
