Your responsibilities include but not limited to

• As part of the Salesforce Solution Delivery organisation, this role will lead the global program to transform how we optimise data storage and management across the Novartis Salesforce platform for our complete global portfolio of Salesforce business applications.
• The objectives of this initiative will be that we align with global record retention policies, significantly reduce Salesforce data storage costs, improve system performance and also ensure a more robust data recovery across integrated systems in the event of a disaster.
• As a key player in our program, this role will be accountable for the overall governance of our strategic vendor to plan and execute the delivery, as well as the governance of the backup and archiving tool product vendor, to ensure a seamless rollout and close collaboration between the different teams in the Salesforce environment.
• As well as this, the role will also be accountable for a number of business applications in our global Salesforce portfolio, ensuring the successful management and delivery across these applications by the relevant teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• > 8 years of relevant professional IT experience; 2
Demonstrable experience in Salesforce
• Consistent track record of broad industry experience and good understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships
• Experience in Agile project delivery and general management in an international environment. Excellent knowledge of business processes, experience in regulated system environment and ability to “speak the business language” when talking about IT subjects
• Experience in advising peers and senior customers on complex issues and provide complex, contextual guidance to influence actions of internal and/or external partners
• Experience in handling internal and external experts in different locations and time zones
