Main responsibilities:

•This role is critical in realizing our aspiration to reach twice as many patients twice as fast. The Regional Value and Access Manager is responsible to connect Mexico's public health care institutions with Novartis through the creation and implementation of value solutions that cover their priorities and needs, while benefiting the patients they serve. This role will contribute to our mission of becoming a credible partner of choice with health care systems.

•Responsible for driving sales, promotion and development in the designated accounts to reach commercial goals. Develop customer development strategy, dedicated KAM action plans for assigned accounts, aligns on account objectives and executes.

•Establish and develop long-term relationships with key customers. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs & objectives.

•Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans and to give strategic input in terms of analysis, future potential and key programs required for the accounts. Prepare and negotiate contracts, and guide initiatives that the company launches to target particular account.Analyze market situation including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and key competitors.

•Organize customer events and other programs independently or with marketing/medical department, in line with agreed business tactical plans. Contribute to the mapping of stakeholders, including segmentation and profiling and provide accurate and timely data for the Novartis CRM system.

•Responsible for driving the sales operations plan and for achieving agreed sales and broader performance targets for own part of the organization. -Develop an effective sales team through training and coaching or management of key commercial programms.

•Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable).

•Customer Centricity: is able to identify unmet needs and priorities of relevant internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative, solution oriented, value driven agreements.

•Strategic Account Management: establish a clear account plan with defined KPI's, map, goals & milestones; ability to collect all relevant information from key stakeholders & accounts and perform analytics and establish priorities and objectives; anticipates account dynamics to maintain extended teams informed and proactively make any relevant changes; acts as a connector between stakeholders and as an enabler removing any barriers to the rightful execution of value projects.

•Execution and Project Management: takes the initiative to go above and beyond standard responses, strategies, and tactics to deliver exceptional results; identifies and mitigates potential barriers to success for self and team; ability to translate strategy to execution, using metrics and performance rankings to understand opportunities and measure results; ability to plan, execute and deliver timely,cost-effective and complex programs and projects that address strategic business needs.

•New Business and Value Solutions Development: proactively seeks new business opportunities within and across markets that position the organization as the preferred business partner; applies knowledge of product, disease area and market dynamics to provide input into broader projects, and access strategies and plans

Minimum Requirements

•Knowledge of public institutions 2 to 4 years in a customer facing role (Marketing, Sales, Medical, Access).

•Proven impact measured by different types of metrics and results. Experience working with complex cross-functional teams.

•Key account management experience. Sales experience in multinational companies.

•Team management experience is preferred. Handling quality metrics & issues. Clinical Trial Design, Data Review & Reporting. Innovative & Analytical Technologies
