Job Description

Over 1000 associates at 31 sites in 12 countries currently make up Advanced Accelerator Applications. The Accounting and P&O Service Senior Specialist leads the GL Accounting, Reporting/Systems incl. payroll and P&O Operations services, as well as Fixed Assets processes within the Molecular Imaging unit in Germany, ensuring its quality and effectiveness. Moreover he/she secures process efficiency and accuracy with our company assets by applying tight controls in the financial transactions, while providing accurate financial information & analysis and timely reporting of balances.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Service delivery in MI transitions, knowledge transfers, ensuring quality and effectiveness
• GL Accounting
• Reporting / Systems
• P&O Operations services incl. payroll
• Fixed Assets processes
• Proactively challenge the Status Quo, making fact based recommendations
• Liaise with relevant Novartis functions, providing necessary information related to the access/entities, Interacts proactively with all functional areas of MI to ensure appropriate accounting, financial reporting and settlement of revenue matters is accomplished

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Certified Finance/Accounting specialist or similar degree
• Local language plus English
• 3-6 years of Financial experience in HGB and IA/IFRS accounting standards
• Multiple Stakeholder and project Management exposure advantageous
• AX / D365 knowlegde advantageous
