We can only reach that many patients thanks to the incredible efforts of our global IP team. In IP we unlock the patent protected parts of the market to enable early patient access to affordable medicines and create savings to the healthcare systems across the globe. The IP data specialist supports the team to identify those early launch opportunities through managing our IP information and taking a creative view of our data to generate unique insights into how we can serve patients and drive value.

Purpose of the role:
General administrative support to the Global Patent team.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prepare, organize and attend meetings (incl meeting agenda and meeting minutes), set up telephone and video conferences
• Prepare business trips, collect expenditure for travel budget control overview, handle travel expenses
• General office organization, responsible and contact person for building, office equipment and printers
• Collecting, distributing objectives, mid-year and year-end reviews; organizing the according meetings and further 1:1 meetings
• Contact point for general patent requests from clients – e.g. from Business Development, Legal, Technical Operations RxGx, Finance, Group IP or Global / Regional & Country Commercial Operations (including distribution of requests to relevant litigators/attorneys and collation of litigator/attorney input; actively build and cultivate the dialogue with partners and works on expansion of a sound network)
• Support team projects and processes; contribute to process improvement and implementation, prepare presentation/tables according to instructions, gather information and prepare statistics;
• Actively participate in various projects
• Responsible for the incorporation of new team members within area of responsibility, act as a tutor for colleagues in the administrative field (e.g. apprentices, new associates etc.), introduce new team members to internal administrative process (e.g. travel booking);

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• High School degree; additional qualification e.g. as an Administrative assistant will be a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, any other additional language, e.g. German is a plus
• Min 2+ years proven experience in an international environment, ideally with Finance or Legal background
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular, including formulas)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, well organized and detail-oriented
• Can-do attitude, proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects
• Team player and problem solver
