Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Understand corporate vision, strategy and satisfy with associate communications activities & channel effectiveness.
• Create integrated communication strategies and solutions to support elevating the overall engagement level in Korea. Supports senior leadership in communicating key change initiatives, policy changes and other company information to associates.
• Responsible for planning, storytelling, writing and editing to persuade, educate and inspire internal audiences to change behavior or understand the work environment. Ensure execution excellence of associate communications by engaging with leaders and associates from business units and functions.
• Manage agencies and other external vendors to secure maximum return on investment, operational excellence and business impact – Creation of the RFPs, Contract related activities, renewals, payments, monthly reviews of the agency, plan Vs. achievement details.
• Directly manages corporate communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization's reputation. Develop concrete content plans to articulate value stories and take key leadership positioning of Novartis– global healthcare & pharma leader, trusted local partner, great place to work in healthcare industry and beyond.
• Work with Korea leadership team and APMA/Global comms team on major media issues and crisis communications.
• Secondary Roles: Direct the planning, preparation, and distribution of news releases relating to the Novartis products in coordination with the marketing. Participate in developing methods of measuring the effectiveness of PR / communications programs along with other colleagues within the communications team & sales/ marketing teams.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree; concentration in communication, journalism, political science, marketing or business is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ communication experience in pharmaceutical/Med-tech industry or other proven experience is desirable
• Presentation, oral and written communication abilities in Korean & English.
• Event management capabilities, including internal employee communication campaigns and company-wide key events requiring strong strategic content support and cross-functional collaboration.
• Influential networks and relationship with established media and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of digital and social media strategies and a demonstrated ability to craft and implement broad digital/social campaigns with success.
• Operational Excellence, Project Planning & Execution, Business Insight, Learning Agility, Interpersonal Savvy, Being resilient are the strengths you'll need.
