The Media Lead is in charge of transforming our media capabilities, investment and measurement, while delivering positive return on marketing investment and future-proofing our US business. Responsible for directing Media Strategy, Media Planning and Media Buying for all paid channels including HCP and Consumer. This individual will work with our agency partners and marketers and be responsible for strategy and implementation of data-driven, cross-channel media for the business. Remit includes the strategic and operational management and implementation of activities related to the conception, design, creation, development, and production of media (e.g., video, audio, graphics, multimedia, and other forms of digital media) for diverse audiences, including internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop the overarching media strategy, vision, and priorities for our US IM brands including the media budget and media agency relationship working closely with senior leaders and business partners.
• Drive above-brand initiatives in assessing new data-driven buying and planning models and leverage advanced application of analytics to drive optimal media channel investment decisions
• Establish a formal planning process and communications cadence with finance, business and marketer stakeholders
• Ensure that the media team and its operations, processes, and execution efforts are effectively delivering high quality work that contributes to timely achievement of business goals and desired outcomes.
• Provide strategic recommendations on opportunities to optimize both short-term performance and long-term equity including the strategic trade-offs between the two outcomes.
• Lead media ecosystem innovation and contribute to overall experience planning efforts by staying current with industry news, digital trends, evolving platforms, and ever-increasing regulatory and legal/compliance guidelines.
• Develop, manage, and innovate Media Guidelines to best reflect the changing media landscape
• Work closely with the Data, Insights & Analytics team to develop paid media measurement approach and influence brands to adopt consistent approach across portfolio

Our selection process will prioritize US-based associates whose roles may be changing or may be impacted as a result of the Transforming for Growth reorganization. This is a US based position. No international relocation will be provided for this position.

This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial Media/Marketing with multi-functional experience in Agency, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in leading media planning, buying, and investment strategy across all media channels
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in assessing, implementing, and leading new data-driven buying and planning models to drive optimal media channel in-vestment decisions
• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience integrating media within MarTech platforms
• Agency media planning, buying experience and data fluency
• Advanced skills in budget management, communications, and leadership and execution of objectives critical to organizational success
• Demonstrated business expertise and knowledge (business acumen) and the ability to consult internally and/or externally
• Demonstrated prioritization, organizational, analytical and research skills as well as the ability to conceptualize more complex issues and work on complex processes, procedures or solutions
