The ideal location for this role is our East Hanover site but remote work may be possible (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific East Hanover site for periodic live meetings will be at the employee’s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position may require up to 20% travel. This is a US based position. No international relocation will be provided for this position

• Director, Integrated Insights Lead – Cross-portfolio - Multiple Therapeutic areas
• Director, Integrated Insights Lead – Cross portfolio - Oncology

The Director, Integrated Insights – Cross Portfolio works across the Pharma or Oncology portfolio, engaging with DIA across product teams to identify and tackle issues that span brands and affect the broader portfolio. This role supports a holistic view of the health of the business, seeks clarity on critical issues, and identifies and elevates insights that may impact the full portfolio. This Director maintains strong relationships and communication with the Integrated Insights teams to ensure visibility into the latest customer and consumer insights within the product teams, and identifies emerging patterns that have portfolio-level implications. This role also ensures that portfolio strategies reflect the latest market, customer and consumer insights, and supports the development of C-suite and Board level business reviews.

This leader is an “Intellectual Sparring Partner”, a proactive, committed colleague who productively challenges assumptions and elevates the thinking of those around them. They have hands-on capability to use a range of syndicated/proprietary data systems, advanced analytics, and custom, traditional, digital, and emerging research methodologies to address issues. They place a priority on communication – up, down, and across the organization - in order to stay aware of developments and keep stakeholders informed. They are able to synthesize large amounts of information into clear narratives that drive alignment and lead to action.

This role reports to the Executive Director, Integrated Insights -Cross Portfolio within the Data, Insights & Analytics team, and works closely with the Integrated Insights team members across the portfolio.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engage with Executive Director, Integrated Insights -Cross Portfolio to align on portfolio needs and priorities related to Data, Insights & Analytics.
• Partner with members of the Integrated Insights Team to discover, share and communicate insights and analytic outcomes which have portfolio implications.
• Partners with commercial teams within the Pharma or Oncology business to address business needs with consumer and customer insights and analytic solutions.
• Patient Insights – create understanding of the shared human experience and success across the therapies we offer, with an emphasis on behavioral and environmental drivers that consistently affect all areas of the portfolio.
• Customer Insight – use a 360° understanding of customers/health care providers (HCP) to identify factors and issues that are shared across the portfolio.
• HCP and Patient Journey Mapping – leverage research on the end-to-end experience for HCPs and patient to identify common portfolio drivers across moments of truth.
• Field Performance Drivers – utilize market data to monitor FF productivity; identify root cause of any performance issues and highlight areas of opportunity.
• Address ad hoc portfolio issues with/for the CPO by connecting with the Integrated Insights Teams, Enterprise Analytics and other partners to create fact-based, aligned summaries and recommendations.
• Work within Ethics, Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and ensure those around him/her do the same.

Minimum Requirements

What will you bring to the role
• Bachelor's degree in related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred
• 7 + years of progressive leadership experience within the Pharma/Life Sciences industry within in an Analytics & Insights organization bringing Therapeutic portfolio insights to life across a wide group of portfolios.
• For the Integrated Insights Lead – Cross portfolio – Oncology position it is a requirement to have Oncology experience.
• Experience of working in key consulting organizations such as McKinsey, BCG or ZS Associates required.
• Deep experience in consumer insights, including an application of behavioral and psychological research methodologies.
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation
• Proven teamwork, collaboration, and people management skills
• Works effectively across functions as a team player to seamlessly help to achieve common goals without hierarchy, politics, or self-interest
• Strong organization skills, detail oriented and customer focused
