The Associate Director will be responsible for owning all aspects of the data and software quality insurance process and support the Real-World Evidence & Medical Intelligence analytic product development. These products operationalize data and analytics and span rigorous research protocol projects to interactive software applications that support Health Economics & Outcomes Research, Medical Access, and Population Health pivotal initiatives focused on improving patient access and optimizing clinical care.

The Data & Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be a critical team member and work intimately with the Analytic product Development team (Researchers, Data Engineering, and Statistical Learning teams).

- Own the test development process (end to end) across all Information Products and play the role of test engineer: design, develop, and implement automated and manual tests. Foster a philosophy of continuous improvement within the development team.

- Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, and provide timely feedback.

- Support, specify and execute data/functional/no-functional verification & validation tasks

- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Prioritize and execute test plans including regression testing. Apply your keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence and discipline to deliver timely test execution.

- Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved.

- Create the testing infrastructure and strategy by supporting and controlling all relevant testing procedures. Lead the collaborative design, development and support of all testing infrastructures and technology.

Minimum Requirements

- B.S. in computer science or related field, Master's degree preferred.

- 5+ years proven experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

- 5+ proven experience in programming experience in Python (+++), Java (++) or other programming languages applicable to this context

- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering (+++) or Data Science (++)

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- 3+ years proven experience in test driven and behavior driven design

- Experience working in agile teams

- Experience in Test Automation in CI/CD environment

This position can be based remotely anywhere in the US (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
