The Manager, Data Enablement will collaborate closely with Finance associates to help drive decision making via data and analytics. Responsible for developing solutions to address challenges faced by Finance by identifying the correct data assets, tools, analytical models, and relevant teams required to deliver these.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• In-depth business acumen (i.e. Finance & Managed Markets Finance) combined with expert analytical skills with the ability to solve business problems/providing valuable insights (i.e. revenue leakage).
• Collaborate with senior level leaders within the business functions to refine their analytical and data needs.
• Experience in statistical analysis and appropriate usage of statistical methodologies to provide insights.
• Catalog, cleanse and identify data sources that are required by Finance. Transform and interconnect data using Novartis tools (i.e. Alteryx & Tellius).
• Extrapolate business question and translate into an analytical model.
• Highlight business priorities/challenges and convert into data performance metrics and advanced predictive analytics for the Finance area.
• Ensure high quality and comprehensive insight into Finance analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to formulate new initiatives and drive stakeholder engagement.
• Drive the development of user requirements and functional specs to ensure the overall user experience is achieved.

This is a US based position. No international relocation will be provided for this position.

This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 10% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international).

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-Year University degree required
2. 3+ years of experience in Managed Markets Finance or Finance experience
3. 3+ years of experience in analytical analysis
4. Comfort with telling stories with data
5. Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind
6. Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture
7. Strong interpersonal, consulting, relationship management, and communication skills
8. High learning agility, problem solving, a strong attention to detail and interest to develop a deep knowledge in a complex regulatory environment
9. Ability to work in a matrixed organization and influence others

Desirable

1. Degree subject area in Business, Finance, Statistics, Technology or related area
2. Strong technical skills (i.e. Alteryx, Tellius, SQL, SnowFlake or similar technologies)
3. Demonstrated project management experience and problem-solving as a member of a cross-functional team.
