The Cardio Metabolic Business Franchise is looking for a new colleague with a creative and driven approach to join our team as a Business Development Manager for one of our launch products within the cholesterol market, that received EU approval in December last year.

As a single point of contact and business owner you are responsible for optimizing the patient journey, customer engagement and overall product implementation in assigned territories. You will identify hurdles and opportunities in the planning, developing and implementing appropriate activities to act on these insights and accelerate adoption of the product for patients.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Build a strong portfolio and be an entrepreneur in handling networks with key collaborators to ensure access and optimize adoption of Novartis innovations, demonstrating ethical business behavior and bringing to bear proven medical knowledge of the relevant disease, treatment and external trends;
• ‘Orchestrate’ account activities (projects) to drive quality effective solution solutions and improvements with customers;
• Facilitating knowledge and experience sharing within the medical community;
• Being the point of reference for HCPs for in-label scientific questions, personalizing the mix of channels used for each HCP and coordinating Novartis customers;
• Collecting key insights into the relevant disease area, competitors, environment, and trends and share with relevant cross-functional team to optimize strategy.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum requirements :
• Bachelors degree in Pharma, Healthcare sciences, Economics or similar;
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the pharma industry, medical devices or a similar industry in the field of hospitals; preferable in a client facing role;
• Fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written).
• IT literate (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams);
• Able to lead projects to improve overall department results;
• Able to drive your own results and feel accountable for it;
• In-depth knowledge of the Dutch healthcare landscape;
