Job Purpose :

Medium/Small Site Responsible for leading the engineering / maintenance organization at site and ensures that equipment, infrastructure and building are fully operational, meet regulatory-, GMP and HSE Compliance and are further developed to meet future requirements. Ensure that equipment, infrastructure and investment projects are fully operational, meet regulatory GMP and HSE compliance through efficient, effective and innovative maintenance on time, every time, safely and efficiently to full satisfaction of our customers. Other positions Responsibility for design, execution and hand-over of mid-size investment major projects within cost, time schedule, quality and functionality within area of technical responsibility.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Large Site Responsible for Engineering activities including planning and coordination of maintenance & calibration activities, project execution and continuous improvement at site level (e.g. buildings, process equipment, utilities, automation
• Responsible to develop / maintain technical site strategy plan (Capex Plan, Recapitalization of equipment, budgeting, etc.) and oversight of its implementation and objective setting / PMP for Engineering department
• Ensure availability of competent, impactful people and develop the talent pool. Inspection readiness of Engineering department and Responsible for the technical availability, reliability and condition of the production plants.
• Define and complete asset strategy and proper asset lifecycle management, implement maintenance strategy and program and budget. Plan resources for maintenance / calibration
• Monitor and control backlogs of maintenance or calibration work orders. Select vendor / contractor, Senior Project Manager / Senior Principal Engineer, OPERATIONS positions and Responsible for the technical availability and reliability of the production plants.
• Responsible for cost efficient for new and existent engineering assets in full compliance with law, cGMP and HSE regulation. Management/execution of all site investment projects according to asset life cycle management and project schedules, time, cost, functionality, and quality
• Manage and implement projects in alignment with key local and global partners and ensure large scale projects on site are developed through their different stages of scope, definition, approval, and implementation

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Apply initiatives and strategies from global improvement programs and engineering standards and push and support roll out and implementation. Management of the third party service providers and corresponding contracts Maintenance, Coordinator -Large Site OTHER positions
• Lead the implementation of technology strategy and the approved equipment standards and project execution standards. Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
• Highest safety standard implemented during projects and operations, no critical findings in HSE audits, no LTI and SIF. Alignment to global / regional / site critical metric.
• Equipment availability, reliability, effectiveness and Meet maintenance cost efficiency and budget and Excellent knowledge of key non-technical business processes; Strategy, HR, Finance
• 5 years of demonstrated leadership abilities, leading both internal and external team members and Broad Maintenance management & project controlling knowledge

Desirable requirements:

• Degree in engineering or equivalent or BE with Civil Engineering with experience in Pharmaceutical/ Chemical/ FMCG Industry
• 12 to 15 years of Engineering Maintenance & Project Management experience, including 5+ years’ experience in Pharma with Outstanding Project Management and excellent technical knowledge with demonstrated ability to deliver safe, effective and fully compliant projects
