Manager Wage Tax (f/m/d), Kundl, Tyrol, Austria

Wage tax compliance is the order of the day! As a Wage Tax Manager (f/m/d) you are responsible for wage tax and social security processes. You accompany the audit processes and the follow up of the resulting facts. You thus contribute to wage tax compliance in the company and are an important interface to management.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure Wage Tax Compliance in an international environment with internally and externally running processes, esp. regarding taxation of all wage tax topics touching local processes as well as internationally moving employees
• Develop, implement and work with a wage tax related Compliance Management System
• Implement guidelines and controls and ensure critical processes being set-up aligned, standardized and compliant (including improvement of existing processes)
• Proactively support wage tax audits
• Act as an interface between P&O Services payroll team and internal/external stakeholders such as service/ payroll provider, tax authorities, tax advisor and local management, labor law
• Act as subject matter expert for wage tax in close collaboration with relevant functions (e.g. P&O, Tax)
• Assist in and contribute to cross divisional and cross country payroll/ wage tax projects
• Keep up to date in regards of legal wage tax changes
• Support upskilling of P&O community with supporting wage tax training materials

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• University degree or polytechnic degree in business administration with focus on tax, law or economics
• Certified accountant is desirable
• 5-7 years of professional experience in a tax environment, ideally in a multinational Big Four company or Tax Authorities
• Professional and operational experience with focus on wage tax is an advantage
• Working experience in SSC environment is an advantage
• In-depth HR/SAP system expertise is an advantage
• Basic knowledge in project and process management is an advantage
• Work experience in virtual / remote teams preferred
• Work experience in international environment / team is an advantage

For this position the minimum salary is € 54.788,3/year (on a full time basis).
