We are a team with a wide range of expertise and many references in the development and improvement of industrial microbial bioprocesses.

Your key responsibilities:
• Planning, conducting and documenting experiments for assigned bioprocess development and improvement products.
• Evaluation and deployment of bioprocess methodology and technology (on-line measurements, off-line measurements, control systems, databases).
• Processing, reporting and presentation of bioprocess results with an active role in the interpretation of results.
• Improving efficiency and optimizing work (planning, integration of pilot scale processes).
• Independently seeking out and understanding the relevant literature in the field.
• Cooperation with external research and development organizations.
• Self-initiated knowledge sharing within research groups.
• Administrating your area of responsibility and providing advocacy at (health authority) inspections.
• Developing and expanding your knowledge and experience in your area of responsibility.

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role:
• We are looking for candidates with a broad knowledge of bioprocesses, bioprocess engineering, microbial physiology and secondary metabolite biosynthesis.
• Priority will be given to candidates with work experience in the field of bioprocesses with an understanding of the operation and management of bioreactor systems.
• Knowledge of databases and statistical processing desirable.
