Purpose:
Provide expert advice for a defined area of the finance function. Provide financial and
administrative support to company organizations for Finance programs

Major Accountabilities
•Support with the operational conversion of the Finance strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business
•Contribute to various financial activities and general projects to support decision making.
•Provide analysis in order to support the business planning and forecasting process and alignment across the organization.
•Provides expert advice to support business managers in external and commercial activities.
•Prepare analysis and reports to enable the development of strategic long-term financial and business plans through the provision of accurate and timely data and analysis.
•Support the implementation of risk management, financial compliance and controls (Business
Process Controls [BPC], Internal and External Audits), and assist in the preparation of internal and external audits.
•Support budgeting process and control.
•Contribute to Finance projects at country or BU level.
•Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
•Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

Minimum Requirements

Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or other business related field or equivalent experience

Experience:
•3+ years’ experience in accounting, finance or related field
•Strong understanding of financial processes and systems, mathematical and analytical skills with outstanding knowledge of data analysis/data mining tools including data warehouse applications, MS Excel and other query and reporting tools
•Ability to work well in teams, independently, and be a self-starter
•Highly developed time leadership skills with proven track record to meet goals and balance priorities with a high degree of initiative required
•Effectively communicate while using strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills with attention to detail
