Key responsibilities:
• Develop and be responsible for strategic planning and supervision of external communications and engagement programs to enforce a consistent corporate brand
• Work effectively with appropriate divisions and functions to advance communications strategy and provide ongoing counsel, focusing on the external environment and potential impact to key stakeholders
• Be responsible for developing corporate communications materials and expanding content pool, including but not limited to corporate messaging toolkits, speeches, press releases, presentations and backgrounders.
• Manage organizational interactions with external media, coordinate media outreach, leveraging key contacts and managing relationships to solicit media coverage
• Proactively identify and pitch opportunities which contribute to the corporate brand and reputation
• Assess reputations risks, issues and potential problems and work with the team and other stakeholder to provide proactive solutions
• Work with the team to manage and execute assigned projects and communications projects such as expos

Minimum Requirements

Key qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications/public relations. Previous PR agency/journalism experience is preferred
• Experience in working in a matrix organization and demonstrate strong coordination skills to engage and work with different stakeholders
• Demonstrate superb skills in “mining” and repurposing information which could be instrumental to the development of communications materials, as well as solid skills in copywriting in both English and Chinese
• Be sensitive and curious about the fast-changing trends in media, public opinion and trendy topics, which may shape the external environment with potential impact on the company
• Self-motivator with strong team spirit and competency in simultaneously managing concurrent and deadline-sensitive projects
• Previous record of driving communications on innovations culture and practices would be a plus, but not a must
