110,000 professionals working together to improve patient’s life and you can be one of them! Novartis Israel is looking for a temporary Demand Planner to support our Supply chain team.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop demand and inventory policy through analysis of all supply chain factors
• Contribute to the S&OP process, make sure that sales forecast and underlying event/ assumptions are transmitted to SAP according to best assumptions
• Ensure demand forecasting data is consolidated and one agreed set of demand number is produced and provide financial and volume projections of inventory to supplement decision-making
• Manage the demand and inventory management process for materials under responsibility and maintain all finished pack products within agreed inventory parameters to ensure continuity of supply
• Ensure all planning parameters are correctly maintained in master data, fully control SAP transactions (MM/SD) by ensuring sales and inventory reconciliation with 3PL; Interface monitoring with 3PL – ensuring correct data flow between parties.
• Manage the lifecycle of a product from launch to pruning phase
• Minimize obsolescence costs by effective inventory management and knowledge of demand. Ensure smooth importation process and good control on customs release and trade compliance
• Identify stock outs risks and manage the situation with close collaboration with all stakeholders within the CPO.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• BA/ BSc degree in Economics/ Logistics/ Industrial engineering, MBA - advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Management and Inventory Management from an international company – preferably within pharmaceutical field
• Experience with advanced information systems such as SAP + MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
• Knowledge and experience with BI systems and database
• Fluent Hebrew and English required (both languages are required for the role)

• High ability to work within a team
