The Product Manager is responsible for pricing and portfolio management within defined Therapeutic Areas. The Product Manager will take lead in driving the existing retail product portfolio through strategic pricing optimisation, product harmonisation, competitor analysis/profiling and demand fluctuation management - acting as the central hub of information with regards to specific therapeutic areas.

Major Accountabilities

• Defining and executing strategic pricing plans for products within therapeutic areas, rolling out plans to sales management and sales teams through goals/objectives and priorities.
• Managing the tracking of performance effectively and efficiently, taking corrective action where required and communicating findings to wider business to manage risks and opportunities
• Provide strategic insight into therapy area for future portfolio decision making.
• Stay up to date with current market trends, competitor intelligence, external environment and key government pricing policies, which may affect the performance of the products.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data from multiple internal and external sources to add content to strategic decisions.
• Own demand forecasting for each product, collaborating with supply chain and sales management to define correct levels of stock for optimum supply to our customers, understanding the market dynamics of each product to ensure demand fluctuations can be managed through supply chain
• Manage pricing through price request process of own products, ensuring prices are approved in line with strategies and company goals, whilst maintaining pricing compliance at the forefront of every decision.
• Manage product lifecycles, all the way through launch / reintroductions to pruning, being the main point of contact for all commercial aspect.

Minimum Requirements

Key Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in quantitative/ analytical discipline
• 3+ years analytics/pricing experience
• Demonstrated Communication and interpersonal skills
• Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficient in a business context
